[News] CNBLUE beats AKB48 on the online preorder chart in Japan (13.04.2011)

The sales of the album of the popular band, ‘CNBLUE’ has captured the 1^st spot of music charts in Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

On 21^st of last month, CNBLUE released their 1^st regular album ‘First Step’ and then it started to capture different online/offline charts. They have also garnered all the championship in the domestic music charts, Music Bank’, ‘Inkigayo’ and ‘M!Countdown’ which shows how powerful they are in the showbiz.

Then, The album has also captured the 1^st place in the J-POP weekly music chart of G-Music in Taiwan. Their mini albums, namely ‘Bluetory’ and ‘Blue Love’ have already earned them a double platinum there. Once again, we can see the power of CNBLUE there.

In the largest album store of Japan, Tower Records, ‘FIRST STEP’ has also topped the online pre-order on the category of ‘Korea-Taiwan-Japan’ united pre-order sales chart. Their sales have even beaten those of the very popular idol group ,’AKB48’ which makes their achievement more remarkable.

The agency of CNBLUE has released a limited edition of ‘FIRST STEP’ in Korea after they have achieved 130,000 sales. A Staff said, ‘if we also include the sales from overseas, the sales number is even more astounding. The members of CNBLUE are really delighted for receiving so much love from overseas,’

Meanwhile, CNBLUE has already gained more than 100,000 sales for their album in the domestic showbiz and they have performed their music in Taiwan and Japan which have gained them so much love. They are expected to become an Asian star in the future.
