The song “Get Away“, composed by CNBLUE member Lee Jonghyun has been chosen as the ending theme song for the series “Gossip Girl” Season 3  set to air in Japan’s Nippon TV soon.

According to the agency, FNC Entertainment, “Get Away” is a song composed by Lee Jonghyun and is one of the tracks in CNBLUE‘s second Japanese single “Where You Are“ which was released on February 1 this year.

The single album “Where You Are” reached the number one spot in Oricon  Daily and Weekly charts simultaneously.

The third season of “Gossip Girl” will begin its weekly broadcast on May 1, every Tuesday on  Nippon TV. The series which portrays the characters with colorful lifestyle and fashion has received fame and love locally and even worldwide.

“We just felt that the lyrics to the song and the overall feeling went well with ‘Gossip Girl’ which is currently popular in Japan,” an official with FNC said in the statement.

In the meantime, Lee Jonghyun is busy shooting the upcoming SBS TV series “Dignity of a Gentleman” (tentative title), slated to make its premiere on May 26, alongside top actors Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ha-neul.

Lee Jonghyun made his debut as the second guitarist and vocalist in CNBLUE while they recently wrapped up promotions of their third mini-album “EAR FUN” to focus on their individual activities.
