[Transcript] MinHyuk Conversation with FT MinHwan and Jaejin on KBS Kiss the Radio

As most of you  know, on July 24th, Kang Minhyuk phoned into FTISLAND MinHwan and Jaejin on Sukira while they were guest DJing on behalf of Super Junior Ryeowook and SungMin.   The conversation was playful and cheerful.  The FNC Drum Line brothers, Min Hwan and Min Hyuk expressed mutual respect and admiration for each other.

The full transcript of their 5-minute conversation is below:

Jaejin : We are now connected to the phone line for our ‘Spare Man’ quiz. We’ll meet in a minute. Hello?

Minhyuk : Hallo, hi. (imitating woman’s voice)

Jaejin, Minhwan : Ooo? Hallo?

Jaejin : Eeeiy.. You’re a man.

 Minhwan : (Let’s) Hang up. Hang up.

Jaejin : You’re a man, right? Who are you?

Minhyuk : I’m Minhyuk. I’m in charge of CNBLUE’s drums, my name is Minhyuk.

Jaejin : Aaah everyone (listeners) the person we connected to via phone turns out to be CNBLUE Minhyuk-ssi!

Minhyuk : Did my voice seem like a woman’s voice?

Jaejin : It was like a man. It’s very masculine.

Minhyuk : Aaah~ I was trying to imitate A-pink. (lol xD )

Jaejin : That’s too bad. Anyway, Minhyuk-ssi, please say hello to the KISS family.

Minhyuk : Hi. Sukira? aah? (Super Junior Kiss The Radio)

Jaejin : Today, it’s F-kira. (FT.Island Kiss the Radio)

Minhyuk : Hi, now I’m working hard acting as Cha Sekwang in ‘MHGF’, and also as CNBLUE’s drummer. I’m Kang Minhyuk.

Jaejin : Nice to meet you. Now you’re acting in ‘MHGF’, right? Which is Cha Sekwang.  You are also extremely becoming more popular. Nowadays, have you ever thought than usual ‘Ah I’ve been doing well’ like this?

Minhyuk : Nowadays, I just realized the reality.

Jaejin : And what is that?

Minhyuk : Nowadays if I want to go to eat rice, I just walk around the streets and I’ll be found out by all the mothers and they’ll give me some (meal).

Jaejin : They gave service (i.e. free stuff, usually side dishes) as well?

Minhyuk : Yes.

Jaejin : Oh I see. I knew that your leading lady actress is Oh Yensoo. I heard she’s really pretty. How will the future love line with Mal Sook turn out?

Minhyuk : aaah… Should I tell you now?

Jaejin : ooh? Can’t you? What will happen?

Minhyuk : Because today is special with Jaejin and Minhwan as the DJ..

Jaejin: Yes, please give me a hint.

Minhyuk: Yes, it’s been doing good.

Jaejin: And..?

Minhyuk: It’s big spoiler already.

***The Best Among CNBLUE in Acting? In Min Hyuk’s Playful POV***

Jaejin : Then I’ll ask Minhyuk-ssi. These days, our friends from CNBLUE members, including Minhyuk-ssi too are quite busy in the acting area. You guys have not been releasing songs/music. You’re doing very well these days (in acting. Among the members, who do you think your acting rival?

Minhyuk : In acting? (Playfully) Then, at this time I think no one can surpass me yet.

Minhwan (teasing): Wow… Even YongHwa hyung and Jonghyun hyung, you surpass everyone?

Minhyuk (playfully): Yes. Because Jonghyun hyung is still a rookie. (joking)

Jaejin : Minhyuk-ssi, starring in MHGF must have given you confidence!

Minhyuk: The ratings are at 48%.

Jaejin: Waaa..envy! Me too!  Minhyuk-ssi, I have a question for Minhyuk-ssi and Minhwan, the Min brothers..

Minhyuk : Aah me?

 ***The Drum Line Conversation***

Jaejin : You guys have something in common, you’re cutely in charge as drummers in the team, which gives the team a bit more pride. Honestly, who do you guys think is better in playing drums?

Minhyuk : What’s wrong?  We’re only being “cute” ones?

Jaejin: Just do as Minhyuk-ssi want.

Minhyuk : Ooh I am fine with it though.

Jaejin : Is it okay?

Minhyuk : Yes.

Jaejin : Then, who performs a bit better (between the both of you), please tell a bit about your strengths from each other?

Minhyuk : Oh, first of all.. I’m his hyung (Editor’s Note: Older than Minhwan.  Minhyuk is a 1991-line while Minhwan is 1992, although Minhwan debuted earlier, making him Minhyuk’s sunbae technically) Minhwan’s powerfull drum skill is overflowing that it’s hard for someone to keep up with it. Of course, I also can play drum well but I think the best person (drummer) is Minhwan.

Jaejin : Minhwan, you got an awesome compliment!

Minhwan : Aww, thank you so much. It’s so chilling. (Flattering)

Jaejin : Minhwan-ssi, your turn!

Minhwan : First, Minhyuk hyung is… has a strong ‘color’, I really can’t do his style or genre of music. I can’t even perceive such precision or control in the rhythm.  I think such things feel really good.

Jaejin : Oooh, such a pro..

 Minhwan : I don’t know how to score with a good view, honestly. Minhyuk hyung when you calculate the drum beat well, it’s so cool… ‘Long’ and awesome.

Jaejin : ‘Long’ in terms of arm’s length?

Minhwan : I’m short and I can’t see properly. During the broadcast (Minhyuk hyung) often seen on TV noticable .

Jaejin : He really like Minhyuk-ssi.

 Minhwan : (cos) Being seen and noticed a lot on TV. So I’m extremely envious of that.

Minhyuk : Minhwan-goon, I absolutely can’t catch up with Minhwan-goon.

Jaejin :Because their conversation was very warming, we did not notice that time passed quickly. So, now, I’ll ask for today’s OX quiz. So today OX quiz man is CNBLUE Minhyuk-ssi… hope Cha Sekwang could spare.
