[News] CNBLUE to rock out at live show in London

 

Korean rock band CNBLUE will be heading to London for their first ever live concert next month, revealed their agency FNC Entertainment Monday.

FNC announced that CNBLUE is slated to perform in front of 3,000 some fans for their “CNBLUE LIVE IN LONDON” at the prestigious IndigO2 concert hall in Greenwich on September 22.

CNBLUE will grace the stage where many famed artists such as Damian Marley, Shaggy, Jimmy Cliff and Indigo Girls have performed at, while their upcoming London show is being co-hosted by CJ E&M’s M-Live Project and AEG, who were in charge of CNBLUE’s joint concert with FTIsland in California in March.

“We had the chance to see where CNBLUE stands in the current K-pop scene and we were extremely pleased with their presence and performance at their California show in March,” Susan Rosenbluth of AEG was quoted as saying.

A rep with FNC said in the statement that the quartet is honored to hold their show in London where rock music first began and the group is working hard to prepare for their forthcoming concert.

In the meantime, CNBLUE is gearing up to release their new Japanese album “CODE NAME BLUE,” which is set to hit stores on August 29.

Additionally, the boys will embark on their first arena tour where they will hold a total of nine shows in six cities throughout Japan starting with the first two performances at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya on October 2 and 3.

They will then visit the Toki Messi in Niigata on October 7, the Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka on October 7 and 10 and Hiroshima Green Arena in Hiroshima on October 13, the Shizuoka Ecopa Arena in Shizuoka on October 16 and wrap up the long run at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama on October 20 and 21.
