After successfully finishing up KBS’ Unexpected You with whopping 45.3 percent viewer ratings, CN Blue’s Kang Min Hyuk transferred the luck to his bandmate.
On September 14, the CNBLUE Twitter was updated with, “Jung Shin! Catch this!! Take it after Unexpected You! Min Hyuk! I got it! Everyone, please enjoy the first episode tomorrow!”
In the photo, Kang Min Hyuk is holding up the script book of Unexpected You, while shaking the hand of Lee Jung Shin, who is holding up the script book of KBS’s new drama My Daughter Seo Young, which Lee Jung Shin is acting in.
This will be Lee Jung Shin’s official acting debut, aside from the cameos he’s made in various shows.
My Daughter Seo Young begins on September 15 and stars Lee Bo Young, Lee Sang Yoon, and Park Hae Jin.

Jungshin’s show is going to be a hit. Family weekend dramas are the best dramas to be on when you’re starting out as an actor. You really get the opportunity to become a better actor working with such a wide age range of actors in the industry. Over a period of 30+ episodes you really get to learn from your seniors and improve your skills. Plus you have the benefit of being on a show that will give you amazing exposure leading to other solid projects. Ojakgyo Brothers did very well. “My Husband’s Got A Family” came right after and did even better. Jungshin’s show is going to get very high ratings as well following those two shows. He better get used to people recognizing him everywhere he goes soon.
