CNBLUE′s Lee Jong Hyun keeps in touch with Jang Dong Gun at least once every two weeks.
On the September 26 broadcast of MBC′s Radio Star, Lee Jong Hyun said to a question asking him whether he′s close with Jang Dong Gun, “I contact him at least once every two weeks.”
He got to know Jang Dong Gun after acting as his son in the SBS drama A Gentleman′s Dignity. As it turned out there was a specific reason he contacted Jang Dong Gun exactly once every two weeks. According to Kyuhyun, who is friends with Lee Jong Hyun, Jang Dong Gun told Lee Jong Hyun at a get-together, “You have to contact me once every two weeks. Call me whether I answer or not.”
Lee Jong Hyun said, “I never got to ask him even for a photo in case he felt uncomfortable. I was careful, but he approached me first which felt great.”
The MCs first commented kindly, “Guess he tried to be considerate in case his junior Jong Hyun felt uncomfortable,” but then added mischievously, “Try calling him every 12 days. Maybe he′ll get mad at you and ask why you′re calling him when there are still two days left.”
The day′s episode featured actress Kim Jung Nan, SHINee′s Onew and Taemin and CN Blue′s Lee Jong Hyun.
